Choose Your Own Electives

Each camper will be sent a form in their Parents Information Packet, in the Spring, before camp starts, which will be a list of ELECTIVES OR ACTIVITIES, from which, he or she is to indicate the activities that he or she would like to be sure to get extra time or special time.The camper will be given their schedule on the first day of camp. Last minute changes will be accommodated based on feasibility and availability.

An elective or activity will be scheduled during a week, as an addition to basic program of golf or tennis. This will be assuring the camper that they will have plenty of fun in their alternative choice activity. i.e. a camper might choose Water skiing and Theater Games as a electives or activities. We will then schedule him or her to water ski in the afternoon or evening time for water skiing and in the afternoon or evening for Theater.

Juniors will be assigned some activities to try as a way of introducing them to fun or interesting choices they may not have considered. They will also have electives to choose.

We will schedule electives based on interest level, safety and fun.
If not enough of your fellow campers sign up for an activity, it will be scheduled at a later date when more interest arises.

After the camper submits his or her choices, the camp will make up a balanced Customized Camper Curriculum and schedule to include each week, clinics, course play, home and away competition, practice time, course play with course management instruction, waterfront, traditional camp activities and of course periods of free choice.Each designed to meet the individual campers needs, interests and abilities.To complement this schedule the Camper Customized Curriculum will be comprised additionally of each campers prescribed level for instruction ( Red, White, Blue, Black, Gold See our Original Maine Golf Academy "WAYWO" Instruction Workbook that will be sent in the Spring to each campers home.)
