Officer of the Day (OD Duty)

This is one of your most important jobs! You will all have to help us maintain the daily functioning of camp so that our lives remain idyllic by serving as an assistant to the Program Director and Head Counselor. Thank you in advance. Counselors will take turns at running camp! You will each be required to serve as OD no more than one day a week. Duty runs from 7am to 1am and includes the following responsibilities: Fill in for Administration during any absence (answer phones, oversee activities) Assist in the smooth running of activities throughout the day including meal time, trip preparations,afternoon & evening activities, shower time, bed time, and camper concerns from bedtime to 1am, etc. Oversee Camper E-mail and phone time (usually from @ 6:30pm to 7:30pm). Sign Counselors In and Out for the evening (everyone should be in by 1am). Stay in constant contact with the Program Director/Head Counselor for instruction.
