The Maine Golf and
Tennis Academy employs as cabin counselors, men and women
in college or who have finished college, who choose to
focus their summer on helping children to realize their
potential. As for the specialists, department heads,
directors and instructors, we hire the finest teachers,
guidance counselors, childcare professionals, and certified
Golf and Tennis Pros. They are all caring and skilled individuals
with camp-related backgrounds. These staff live, eat,
bunk with, guide, counsel, listen to, care for, and recreate
the campers when they are not in either the Golf or Tennis
Program. Because we run camp as a full time, year round
venture, we spend most of our time recruiting and interviewing
new candidates to become part of our team of wonderful
faculty and staff.

Each
year we are gifted with the highest caliber
Golf and Tennis staff including PGA Class A Pros, LPGA
Pros, USPTA Pros, College Coaches, High School Coaches
and Professional Golf and Tennis Instructors and College
Players. The single common denominator amongst the staff
each year is that all the lead instructors have
all been professional junior golf or junior tennis camp
owners, directors, or clinicians for some of the finest
Golf Schools or Tennis Schools in the US.
They live at
the camp, with our campers from all over the world.
The highest quality and qualified faculty made up of PGA
Class A Profesionals, Division I and II Golf Coaches and
Professional Golf Instructors, USPTA Tennis Coaches, teachers
and college students as the men and women who have been
hand picked because of their superior skills, caring nature,
talent, above average character and desire to motivate,
nurture, challenge and inspire your child. THE
BEST OF THE BEST make an ALL-STAR TEAM: They have come
from such top level Golf Schools and Golf Academies ias:
Leadbetter, Pelz, Jacobs, Palmer, The PGA Learning Center

Director of Tennis Chris Langdon, P1 USPTA, and
Division I College Tennis Coach
Chris
Langdon , has been teaching tennis for
over 30 years. Chris who was hand picked by our
Master Tennis Professional and by John McEnroe's
coach Tony Palafox to be the Director of Tennis
at the #1 Tennis Camp in America, has taught
all levels from beginner to Division I Varsity
players, Chris's speciality is getting players
onto High School and College Teams in America.
John Warren
PGA Class A Professional
Lead Instructor for the Maine Golf and Tennis Academy
John Warren, turned golf professional in 1996 and has since won numerous tournaments and Pro-Ams in his native Pacific NW. He currently teaches at Black Bear Golf Club in Orlando, Fl and at MGTA
