Dear Joel and Crista,

You know your child had an amazing time at camp when they are smiling when you drop them off and full of tears when the are leaving. Corey truly came home with a deep love of camp and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

The camp is so well run. Everyone was so pleasant on the phone answering all our questions prior to camp. You were so organized when we arrived with individual packet for every camper, the entire staff being on hand to greet and the tour of camp. We especially appreciated how well done the parent's departure was handled . I know it saved me a lot of tears.!

The staff was absolutely incredible. The golf pros did an amzing job, the chef was wonderful and the counselors were the finest I have ever seen. Nigel, Brian and David truly made Corey's summer. They couldn't have been more attentive, fun and caring. Megan is unbelievable, as welll as the entire staff.

You certainly know how to run a first rate camp. Everyday offered a new activity and experience. Please save a spot for Corey for next summer

Sincerely,

Terri and Jim Pasquarelli (Parents of a first year camper)

Than you for helping my golf game. Your tips have improved my swing as well as my knowledge of the rules. Golfing was greata becasue of you Sincerely,

David Carlin - 3rd year camper

Press Release

Looking for the Best?

Maine Golf Academy , featured in April 2003, Golf Digest Magazine , with Tiger Woods on the front, saying "I will answer your questions."

Check us out!

The feature on how to pick a Junior Golf Camp that is right for your child, called "Summer Promises" page 218.

The Maine Golf Academy and our Hole #1 and Pro Shop is the photo example and model they use for helping people envision a Junior Golf Camp. It has a wonderful picture of our camp and our Director of Golf Frank Mantua, PGA Class A Professional, teaching a student on our # 1 green in front of the Pro Shop at our camp. It is very flattering.

The big question answered by this issue was:
"Is one week enough?"
Answer:
"One week is hardly sufficient to learn the game, as those of who have struggled a lifetime know. [By way of explaining who has the best solution to how long a Junior Golf experience should be] The Maine Golf Academy offers 4 weeks and 2 weeks sessions".

We are honored to be so named by the definitive resource guide in the industry. Find this issue on newsstands or at www.golfdigest.com/juniorcamps

We have also received some very nice recommendations that we would like to share with you. If you would like to add any comments or have any questions, please feel free to contact us

your camp is the only one that looks serious, fun and worthwhile!"

-Louise White

"The part I love the most for my daughter and son is that they can go to camp and get such personal attention from Professional Golf and Tennis Instructors and then still have all the fun traditional camp activities when the high paced day of instruction gets to be too much. Perfect combination!!"

Cynthia Shepherd - Parent of 3rd year campers.

" Now I see why you have the reputation of being the best.
Your high tech program, high quality staff and incredible facility are better than any I have seen,
My son has been to all the best in the last few years and yours tops them all in my country and yours"

Phillipe LaBassa - Parent of two campers for their second year.

Dear Mommy and Daddy,

Camp is so great! Today, I did so many things like climb on the rock wall, Swim in the lake, jump on the water trampoline, played golf and did the slip and slide. The favorite think that I did today was hitting balls at the driving range becasue they put a canoe for us to aim and hit at . Tonight is carnival night . I can't wait. to play some games and win some prizes . Today I won a hat with my nambe embroidered on the back. I have don so many cool things at camp that iwould take a year to write all of them . I love you and I miss you.

Love,

Max (1st year camper)

PS Send me something and write back

Dear Maine Golf Academy,

Grant can't stop talking about the wonderful month he spent at camp. Less than a week after he returned, Grant and his father won the Father/Son golf championship at our club. He is currently working hard to establish a handicap so that he can participate in the advanced golf program next year.

Enjoy the rest of the summer and look forward to seeing you next year.

Sincerely,

Leigh Ann Mills ( Parent of 1st year camper)
