Luggage and Baggage Shipment

Campers coming from WITHIN the United States of America

To insure that we have a warm and welcoming experience for your camper, it is necessary for us to unpack your campers luggage, place their belongings on the proper shelves and mark them so they move into a space saved just for them.

So as to have a place all prepared for their stay with us upon arrival, we feel it is necessary to avoid the hectic nature of arrival day, which can lead to a camper who will experience unnecessary stress surrounding the need to be surrounded by his or her hoped for belongings, should we wait till arrival to get their space ready.

Therefore: All luggage and baggage must be shipped to camp prior to the campers arrival and upon departure will be shipped home through an independent shipping company called the Mailing Center. Please contact them to make all shipping arrangements prior to May 30.

All luggage shipment is the responsibility of the family and it is up to the family to make arrangements to and from camp for all luggage, baggage and camper transportation. All baggage will be shipped home by FED EX Ground, if we do not have any previous arrangements for shipment. Baggage, in most cases will be shipped home within two days of the camper's departure. If any luggage or baggage is needed to be shipped earlier, it must be requested in writing by May 30.

Please do not send expensive, valuable, sentimental or hard to replace items as they may get lost, misplaced or damaged in transit. or while your camper is here at camp. MGTA does not take any responsibility for any personal items lost, broken or stolen. Do not sent electronics of any kind as this is an electronic free camp.

Because of limited space in our vehicles, the extra space that luggage takes up and the increasing amount and size of luggage campers bring,  WE DO NOT TRANSPORT LUGGAGE other than 1 carry on bag per child. This includes all transportation to and from the airports and any bus or van transportation we may offer. Any special arrangements requested outside this policy incur an additional fee of $60.00 or more. Please complete Requests Form.

Campers coming from OUTSIDE the United States of America

Because of the extremely high fees associated with shipping baggage overseas international campers DO NOT SHIP baggage. Campers traveling without a parent drop off or pick up, will be allowed to have their luggage transported during pick up and drop off at the airport, for an extra fee of $60.
